The VAMA | Hampton Road’s Apartment Community Excellence (ACE) Awards is an annual ceremony to recognize and celebrate industry professionals and apartment community accomplishments over the last year.

Like previous years we will be using an awards program to manage the ACE Awards nomination, entry submission and judging!  The process is outlined in detail under the NOMINATION PROCESS tab above.  Please review this before you begin the nomination process.   

Ready to Nominate?
If you are ready to nominate, select ENTER NOMINATIONS NOW from tabs above.  This will prompt you to login with an existing login OR create a login.  Please note, this login is different from the VAMA website.  This is specifically for this Awards Management Site.  You will then follow the steps listed under NOMINATION STEP BY STEP PROCESS.

Already been nominated?
If you have already been nominated and you received an email letting you know you have been nominated, congratulations!  You will want to click on the "Already Nominated" tab above or  CLICK HERE to submit your questionnaire answers or upload required documents for the category in which you were nominated.  By clicking on this link, it will prompt you to create an account or log in to an existing account you already created on this site.  Once logged in, you will want to remember which category you were nominated for and follow the prompts.  To see the full list of questionnaire questions and required documents you will need to submit for the category, click on this category Guide!

2026 ACE AWARDS Ceremony:
Save the date!  2026 winners will be announced the evening of Friday, October 2, 2026 Hilton Norfolk, The Main. Details on registration for the awards dinner program will be posted on the VAMA website (www.vamaonline.org)  when they are available.

This Guide contains all categories that will be offered for 2026, as well as what will be required to submit for each of them. 

Please note, any category with 3 or fewer nominees will be eliminated.
